Conventional v1 update path
Optional, ownership-aware cleanup
Frequently asked questions
The essentials, answered.
Does KB Crates replace the WHMCS knowledgebase?
No. KB Crates works with the native WHMCS knowledgebase and adds a managed way to bring organized content packs into it.
Does version one depend on a remote pack server?
No. The initial release includes its packs with the addon and follows a conventional manual update path.
Will deactivation automatically delete articles?
No. Content is preserved by default. Cleanup is optional, and ownership tracking limits deletion to content KB Crates created.
Does version one include software licensing or automatic updates?
Not yet. Licensing, update entitlement, and a secure updater are planned for a later release rather than the initial version.
A better knowledgebase starts with the right crate.
KB Crates version one is coming soon for WHMCS administrators who want clearer, more useful self-service content.
